M. Terri Bilbro, FNP-BC

Ms. Bilbro earned her Masters in Nursing at Gonzaga University in Spokane Washington. Her work experience includes Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP) [General Registered Nurse] (March 1993-October 2010); The City of Monterey Sports Center [Coach/Instructor Exercise and Fitness Classes] (May 1998-Current); Monterey Bay Oncology [Triage Nurse, Chemotherapy Teaching and Education] (September 2001-2005); Co-Owner, Evolution Integrative Wellness Coaching [Fitness Programming and Athletic Training] (February 2005-May 2010); PRIMA Heart [Cardiovascular Risk Assessment and Screenings] (September 2008-February 2013); and Owner, Nitrous Performance Training and Testing [Fitness Programming and Athletic Training (January 2008-Current).

Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) (October 2014). Ms. Bilbro has been in practice with MPOSMI since November 2014.

Active in various professional organizations, Ms. Bilbro is a member of the California Association of Nurse Practitioners; American Academy of Nurse Practitioners; Sigma Thea Tau International Honor Society of Nursing; as was a Board member for the Sports and Recreation Careers (SPARC) Program, Monterey High School (2008-2009). She is Owner and Founder of the Monterey Beach SportsFest and has developed wellness programs and health screenings with the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the City of Monterey Sports Center.

Ms. Bilbro has other certifications including American Counsel on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer & Health Coach; USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Specialists; USA Cycling Level II Certified; USA Triathlon Coach Level II Certified; and USA Track and Field Coach Certified.

In addition, she has given numerous presentations including Health, Fitness and Wellness Lectures to the public through businesses and religious organizations (ongoing); Monterey Beach SportsFest (September 2014 & ongoing); Lake San Antonio Triathlon Training (ongoing); and Wellness coaching for the Personal Trainer Curriculum (February 2010).

Her professional interests are in preventive and integrative health, weight management and sports nutrition, wellness coaching, and performance training for athletes of all ages and abilities.

Ms. Bilbro is married with 4 grown children and a grandson. Her interests include fitness training and coaching, multi-sport and mob racing, and music.
