Royce Heffington, PA
Mr. Heffington earned his Bachelor’s degree Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of California Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, CA (2000-2002 and his medical degree from Touro University, Las Vegas, NV (2005-2008). He continued his/her training with clinical rotations at Monterey Peninsula Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Institute, Monterey, CA (December 2007); Valley Hospital-Emergency Room, Las Vegas, NV (November 2007); Office of Christopher Summa, M.D., Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery (October 2007)’ Southwest Medical Associates, Henderson, NV OBGYN (June 2007); Las Vegas Paiute Tribe, Las Vegas, NV, NV Community Medicine (May 2007) UMC Medical Center Outpatient Facility-Primary Care, Las Vegas, NV (April 2007). He/she then went on to become a Physician’s Assistant at Touro University, Henderson, NV (2005-2008).
In addition, Mr. Heffington served in the Navy branch of the military as a Medic (Ortho Tech) where he attained the rank of E-4 after serving a total of four years.
Board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (2008), Mr. Heffington has been in practice with MPOSMI since 2008 as a Physician Assistant.
Active in various professional organizations, Mr. Heffington is an active member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Mr. Heffington is married and has two dogs – Molly and Clover. His interests include the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He is also a volunteer with the local Boy Scout Council working to maintain and perform various projects toward the up keep of Camp Pico Blanco in Big Sur, CA.
