Phillip Belushi, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Phillip Belushi earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Concordia College and University, NY in 2013 and his medical training from Central Coast College and received a Diploma in Medical Billing and Accounting Management July 1996.   Mr. Belushi also served in the U.S. Army from March 1982 to October 1989 achieving the rank of Sergeant in Field Artillery, Infantry and Maintenance.

Mr. Belushi went on to achieve the following certifications Change Management Specialist, and Six Sigma Lean Professional.

Mr. Belushi has been in practice with MPOSMI/UrgencyMED since 2003 and serves as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Belushi is active with the Marines’ Memorial Association, and Central Coast College Employers Association. Mr. Belushi enjoys several activities outside of the office including Weight Lifting, Hiking, Wine and Food paring, and Stock Options Trading

Zaida Ledezma graduated from Seaside High School in Seaside, CA. She started her carrier in insurance and came on board with MPOSMI in September of 2002 as a Receptionist, there after became a Medical Assistant. Zaida has continued her training with MPOSMI and has completed several courses in leadership and management and now serves as Office Manager for our Monterey, CA location.

Zaida is bilingual (English/Spanish).

Zaida enjoys several activities outside of the office including cooking, decorating, and fashion coordinating.

Thomas Romayor studied Computer Science at Imperial Valley College, Imperial, CA, additionally has training in Accounting and Medical Billing at Central Coast College in Salinas, CA, as well as extensive training in customer service.

Thomas has been with MPOSMI since September 2011 and serves as the IT Manger for our two locations. Thomas is biliterate/bilingual (English/Spanish).

Mr. Romayor enjoys several activities outside of the office including hiking, swimming, and volunteer work.
